The Missouri State Highway Patrol has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing Grandview man last seen involved in a crash in Cooper County.

Authorities say Kenneth P. Christiansen, 37, was involved in an injury crash on Sunday in Cooper County. MSHP crash reports show Christiansen was driving a 2013 Freightliner truck on westbound I-70 Sunday when he struck a man changing a flat tire on the side of the road.

The pedestrian was airlifted to an area hospital with serious injuries. Christiansen was able to drive away from the scene after speaking with authorities.

After the crash, Christiansen reportedly made suicidal statements via text messages to family members.

Authorities located his vehicle Monday morning along I-70. In it they found his phone and other belongings.

Christiansen is approximately 6’4″ tall weighing around 300 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and he was last known to be wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.
