Emergency crews called out for water rescue at I-70, Broadway

Kansas City firefighters were called out Tuesday morning for a water rescue at I-70 and Broadway.

Emergency crews were called at 8:28 a.m. to the area.

Authorities have not released any other details.

KMBC’s Nick Bender reported that radar estimates of 1 to 2 inches of rain has fallen over the past six hours across Kansas City, making flash flooding possible.
