Delivery drivers being robbed on South Side, police say

At least two delivery drivers have been robbed in the Bronzeville neighborhood in the last two weeks, police said in an alert Sunday.

The drivers made deliveries and were robbed, including one of his vehicle, police said in the alert.

The most recent robbery took place Wednesday about 3:20 p.m. in the 4100 block of South Michigan Avenue, according to the alert. The driver in that robbery had his vehicle stolen. The other robbery took place about 12:30 p.m. June 19 in the 4200 block of South Prairie Avenue.

The robbers were described as at least one black man or boy, age 15 to 25, standing 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-9 and weighing 120 to 145 pounds and wearing a white top and blue jeans.
